Top Ten Tuesday: Books with Unique Titles

Top Ten Tuesday #11

First of all, I want to thank everyone who forgave my unintentional hiatus last week commented, contributed, and complimented my foray into #Bookstagram yesterday! Your feedback and opinions mean the world to me so thank you so much for taking the time out of your presumably busy day to help a fellow bibliophile out!

As for today’s post, it’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for TOP TEN TUESDAY hosted by  The Broke and the Bookish.

Today’s topic is sure to provide some entertaining posts throughout the blogosphere because it’s devoted to unique book titles. Those titles that stand out and demand attention.

Due to the fact that this topic is fairly subjective, I assume there will be a lot of variety in this week’s answers, which is fine by me!

I chose to utilize titles found only within my home library to fulfill this topic. Not only did it help me work on some #Bookstagram posts, but it also helped limit my options and really make me search for those titles that bring a little something extra to the table!

So, without further ado, I present my “Top Ten Books with Unique Titles.”

      Thanks so much! I know! I lent my original copy to my mom because I was so into it and wanted her to read it and she LEFT IT on a plane. She had to buy me a new one and now it’s got the giant “now a movie” button on it! Oh well! Thanks for stopping by!

      Yeah, I know a lot of the time people don’t include “business” books in their list but I read so many of them between debate in HS and running my own marketing firm for years that I feel compelled to sprinkle in a few titles every now and again.

    Strange the Dreamer and A Clockwork Orange are both really creative titles! I like the imagery and intrigue they create, especially considering I haven’t read either book so don’t totally know how the title applies to the story.

    I was sooo tempted to put either Simon vs or Upside of Unrequited on the list. They’re both such great books with slightly different titles.

    Etiquette and Espionage and Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal are both on my TBR although probably towards the bottom as I’d kind of forgotten about them.

      Yeah, I simply couldn’t pass up Simon, clearly lol.

      As for Angus, I haven’t read them since middle school so unless you’re craving a Brit humor, middle grade first crush/kiss/etc type of read, it’s probably safe at the bottom of your TBR.

      Nothing against it, I enjoyed it when I read it, but not sure how it would compare to today’s “must reads.”

      Yeah it had an interesting arc of popularity where I feel like everyone was reading it and then you never heard it mentioned again lol. If you do read it, keep me posted! Would love to know your thoughts!

        Bahaha yes, she sure did! I love her so much – she’s totally precious and she loves that book so much that I honestly cannot wait to read it. I haven’t been let down by a recommendation from her so far! Let me know if you decide to read it soon and I would totally be down for a buddy read! ❤

        I knew it!!!! I only own that book because of her fierce recommendations of the author! Plus one of her posts said to start with this one! Love that! I haven’t read that nor have I ever done a buddy read so I’d love to try that out if we can coordinate schedules!

      I seriously don’t know what it is about the title that makes it linger. I don’t know if it’s the content mixing with it or what, but it was honestly the absolute first thing that came to mind when I read last week’s topic!
