Tay’s 5-Star Readathon TBR

Happy Monday, book nerds! 

I think I say this at the start of every month, but I cannot believe it’s already OCTOBER!! We’re in the final quarter of 2018, y’all. That’s just straight up bonkers!

In order to stay motivated and get that extra push I need to stay ahead of my reading challenge goals I’ve decided — clearly, last minute — to join the Five-Star Readathon! Read on to learn more about the challenges and my book selections!

Hosted by Elise @TheBookishActress (the O.G. creator), May @Forever&Everly and Julianna @PaperBlots this week-long readathon starts TODAY (I told y’all, last minute…) and runs till Sunday (Oct. 7). Consisting of FIVE challenges (see below) the goal is to select books we think are going to end up being 5-Star reads, which encourages us to read books we actually want to read! Although I didn’t read #7in7 back in my #ContemporaryAThon days, I’m hoping #5in7 is more manageable! Wish me luck and check out my selections below!

1) Read the next book in a series you like.

2) Read a book by a favorite author. 

Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett

3) Read a book you were anticipating and never got around to reading.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

4) Read a book with more than 500 pages. 

Gemina by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman

5) Read FIVE books.

In case I’m not feeling my selections for challenges 1 or 2 (read: or if ACOFAS ends up being trash), I’m going on record that this will be left on the nightstand as a ready-to-go alternate read.
