November 2018 Book Haul a.k.a. Biggest Haul EVER!

Morning, book nerds!

First and foremost, today is my baby brother’s birthday, and even though I know he’s notScreen Shot 2018-12-02 at 8.37.33 AM.png reading this, I want to give him the biggest HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout out! My little brother (who you can see is no longer so little) is one of my biggest inspirations and I hope the world treats him right today because — bias aside — he deserves it!

Beyond that, I will be double posting today — and most likely for many days throughout December — because silly me, I didn’t consider all the other things I’d want to talk about beyond my 25-day-holiday-themed series! I guess it’s unavoidable so I truly hope y’all love me enough to give the blog some love and attention TWICE today! Especially because the star of today’s Holiday ADVENTure is worthy of your time!!

About today’s haul, y’all…well I’m not going to lie it’s massive. Like the biggest haul I’ve ever hauled in the history of my hauling. But just like last month, I blame the magnitude on sales — specifically BLACK FRIDAY sales.

Clearly I’m aware this is a lot of books, but I like to think I work hard for my money and that gives me the right to spend some of it “recklessly” on things that bring me joy. So I hope you guys will take Señor Chang’s lead and find joy through my spending shenanigans.

Disclaimers have been made, so let’s mosey on to My November 2018 Book Haul!

Right?? I was like how can I possibly pass up getting some of these for so cheap — especially when they’re signed.

Ex: SADIE will hands down be one of my favorite reads of the year and it’s signed and was $7.99!! Like that’s just stupid lol!

Thanks for the kind words!! Did you do any Black Friday book shopping??

Firstly, I am so insanely jealous you have a signed copy of What If It’s Us, I loved that book!! (Cons of living in Aus 😭). Secondly, I hope you love The Rook, it’s one of my fave sci-fi / fantasy books. I love the whole concept and it does a trope really well!! Finally, excellent haul!! x

      1) I’m excited to have one too! I haven’t read it yet, but I hope I love it as much as you do!!
      2) Yay someone that’s read The Rook. I heard about it on a best of list like years ago, but never hear anyone talk about it so that’s super exciting to hear!
      3) Ty love!!

I was hesitant to post this because my Lord it’s hefty, but it honestly was the savings that did me in! Where should I start, May? You’ve never led me astray! (FD: I’ve already read Sadie, Nyxia, Letters to the Lost)<3

ahhhh letters to the lost was soooo good, i hope that was one of the ones you loved too!

hmmmm, SO MANY CHOICES! if youre looking for a fantastically humorous and lots of sass (with great representation of depression) i’d say go with Nice Try Jane Sinner.
“the only thing worse than me is you” is a modern pride and prejudice retelling (instant win) and IF YOU WANT A QUICK FUN READ, DEF GO FOR THAT!
annndd if youre feeling historic and emotional, then the bird and the blade is my pick ughhh made me sobbbbb

okay i’ll stop here, but i CANT wait to hear your thoughts on all these books and i hope you love them ❤ ❤

I LOVED Letters to the Lost! I’m glad I finally own a physical copy. I haven’t read More Than We Can Tell yet though because I was super invested in Declan lol. Have you?

You are SOO awesome for these recs and it’s SO funny because the three I pulled that are LITERALLY on my nightstand are Jane Sinner, both Lily Anderson titles, and I downloaded Bird & The Blade to my kindle. Seems like my instincts matched your recs so that definitely seals the deal!!

Thank you so much for the recs and I will keep you posted May! ❤

I’ve been really good despite all the sales going on. Not a single physical book. Digital is another story. Who can turn down a really good ebook for $1 or $2?? Even still, probably only 4 or 5. Not going to lie. Kind of jealous of your haul, though.
