Top Ten Tuesday #40
Hello again, book nerds!
Like last Tuesday, I’m going to keep this brief since today is another double posting day, but a few things need to be said before I dive in:
- I REFUSE to triple post in one 24-hour period, which means I won’t be able to publish today’s #HolidayADVENTure reveal 🙈 Before you riot, hear me out! The other two posts scheduled for today were time sensitive and HAD to be released on Tuesday.
And, yes, I know what you’re thinking: “Taylor, doesn’t December 11th’s advent post need to be posted on the 11th too? Isn’t it EQUALLY time sensitive?” The answer is obviously yes! However, because I’ve already doubled up on advent posts in the past, I figured I could do it again! I PROMISE I’ll fill them with EXTRA love and give them a nice, chunky window of solo time!! Plus this is the only way I can deliver all the content I want to share with you guys so…be cool?
- If you actually read the whole previous point, I love and appreciate you and your commitment to finishing what you’ve started! 😂
Anyways, let’s take a break from the holiday-themed series and check out another round of:Hosted by Jana at ThatArtsyReaderGirl, this week’s prompt is “Freebie,” and you can bet your bottom dollar I’m rolling with that prompt!
I decided to do something ten-centric in honor of the meme, so I’ve decided to share with y’all 10 new additions to my TBR pile, but in a weird TAYLOR TWIST™ way. Basically I went to my Goodreads “Want To Read” shelf, organized the books by “Date Added,” to ensure the most recent titles would be selected, and then I took every TENTH selection to compose this week’s list. So basically you’re seeing my 10th, 20th, 30th, (and so on) most recent TBR shelf additions. And thus my T10T list of Most Recent(ish) Additions To My TBR Mountain was born!
That totally makes sense, right? Either way, we’re diving in…

Thank you so much, Breanna! It was a little odd, but it made sense to me lol! For real! But I’m pretty much excited about any book concept that has to do with a retelling so…

I wish it had ended better/earlier. Once Pierce and Troy are gone, it’s just depressing.

Oh yeah I don’t really enjoy any shows that continue on without the original casts. Some manage it for a like a season but like season 1 of Community in particular will always be my fave!

Absolutely. 1 & 2 are gold. But then they got rid of the writer. He came back later on, but by then the cast was already starting to leave.
The Office is another fav that was NEVER as good after Michael Scott leaves.
