Good morning, book nerds!

I don’t know if you caught it or not, but yesterday afternoon I posted my first monthly wrap up in 9 MONTHS! So yeah, maybe check it out, give it some love, and let me know if you’d recommend any setting/stat changes. While I enjoy writing wrap ups for my own personal use, I always want to ensure the info I’m sharing is what y’all want to be reading!

Beyond that, I’ve been busy with work, chores, and catching up on some much needed sleep. Hopefully I’ll work reading into that schedule sooner than later!! Wish me luck!

And now for the reason you’re all here: Another round of TOP TEN TUESDAY!Hosted by Jana at ThatArtsyReaderGirl, this week’s topic is “Favorite Tropes.” I absolutely love this topic and cannot wait to read all of your posts this week!! Unfortunately when I was brainstorming earlier today, I lost my patience when I couldn’t think of great examples for every trope I wanted to include so I decided to bail and do my own thing this week.

I wanted to do something completely different so I decided to start a theme I could use when/if another TTT prompt and I don’t see eye to eye. And thus the color-inspired topic was born. Today, I present you with my TOP TEN RED READS! That’s right, this week’s list is devoted to my favorite RED-covered titles. To make things interesting (for me at least), I’ve decided to split the list between titles I’ve read and titles on my TBR. And since it was so popular last week, I’ve decided to include all the selected book’s opening lines to give you a quick glimpse into their stories.

Now that you know the game plan, let’s dive into my: Top Ten Red Reads!

    I love this! It’s just pretty. And I also love how you put the opening lines. I’ve been thinking about doing that with my reviews, but I’ll likely forget on half of them. I think the first line(s) of a book can really set the tone, and also make me pick up that book.

      That’s an interesting point I hadn’t considered. I, initially, was only focusing on the color and picking 5 I’ve read and 5 I haven’t, but trying to figure out what they have in common/why that color was chosen for the cover is definitely intriguing!
